Lujong: Training the Wisdom Body
Energizing Tibetan yoga
Join Trinity for a 50-minute Lujong practice!
Lujong practice (Tibetan yoga) can help invigorate our body and mind and center and stabilize our being so we can remain calm and helpful in a crisis. It has been designed over centuries to provide strength from within, and to support physical, mental and emotional well-being. The exercises in Lujong influence our entire system from the physical to the most subtle and profound.
Usually done in the intensive
three-year retreat for the most advanced practitioners, at Sukhasiddhi we offer
a modified form developed by Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche for his Western
students. It is an enlivening practice, designed to uncoil the knots in our
energy system and open the energy flows of the body. It is done in standing
positions, so requires no special equipment or mats, and can be either vigorous
or gentle, depending on the needs of your body.
