The Subtle Body

Yogic method of transformation and liberation

A few words from Lama Palden about this course:

In Buddhist Tantra, what is called the Subtle Body is worked with extensively as part of the skillful yogic means of transformation and liberation. We can think of the Subtle Body as our energy body, equally as important in liberation as working with our minds, and the Vajrayana method for rapid transformation.

During this four session audio course, Lama Palden focuses and teaches specifically on the Subtle Body for the first time, leading meditation practices which bring us in touch with our Subtle Body, helping us become more aware of the chakras, the movement of prana in the nadis or channels and the quality of our energy. Being deeply in touch and working with our Subtle Body is a vitally important skill for liberating us from reactivity and habitual patterns.

We invite you to listen to these wonderful teachings and meditations. These audio recordings have been edited and two handouts have been added. The first handout provides online resources for learning about the Tibetan yogic practice of Lujong, which was part of the original workshop. The second handout contains lyrics for two songs sung at the end of the course.
